Bachchi Samahon-Oumar is a Director at Sorren. With more than 30 years of experience in accounting and finance, Bachchi brings both corporate leadership and academic insight to his role. Before joining Harris, he served as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for over 15 years and held controller roles in the telecommunications industry. He also spent six years as an adjunct professor of accounting at Boise State University, which provided him with a unique perspective on the intersection of technical excellence and practical application. At Sorren, Bachchi is a leader in the fiduciary services department, overseeing operations and developing tailored solutions for complex trusts and estates. His depth of industry experience allows him to anticipate challenges and design strategies that align with clients’ financial goals and fiduciary responsibilities.

Bachchi is an avid golfer and passionate musician, skills passed down from his father, a violinist and composer. A former semi-professional rugby player, he now follows the LA Lakers, Inter Miami, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He lives in Boise with his wife, Alifiyah, and is the proud father of two daughters, Amani and Samina. His long-term goals include international travel and exploring public speaking or stand-up comedy.
