Before helping to lead the formation of Sorren, Josh served as President of Harris, a legacy firm known for its strong community ties and trusted client relationships. His experience navigating growth, cultural integration, and strategic transformation made him a natural fit to help lead Sorren into its next chapter.

As President, Josh plays a key role in shaping Sorren’s strategic direction, strengthening the firm’s culture, and deepening community connections across all regions. His leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that success is a byproduct of empowering others. Under his guidance, Sorren continues to evolve not only as a top 50 accounting firm but as a force for good in the communities it serves.

Josh’s dedication to civic engagement and youth development has been a long-standing part of his leadership journey. He actively supports organizations like Idaho Youth Ranch. He has coached youth sports for many years, believing firmly in the positive impact that mentors and role models can have on the next generation. His approach to leadership extends beyond business outcomes to include cultivating environments where individuals and communities can thrive. Outside the office, Josh enjoys rafting Idaho’s rivers, exploring new places with his family, and diving into books on leadership and organizational health. He often finds inspiration in authors like Patrick Lencioni, Simon Sinek, and the Arbinger Institute—leaders who champion purpose, clarity, and trust as the foundation of effective leadership.
