Benjamin Cohn is a Director at Sorren and a licensed municipal auditor in the state of Oregon. Ben joined KDP in 2015, growing into a key leader on the assurance team, overseeing many of the firm’s largest governmental audits. His expertise spans cities, school districts, housing authorities, HUD-funded projects, and a wide range of nonprofit organizations. With a sharp eye for detail and a team-oriented approach, Ben supports clients through each stage of the audit process, often helping organizations navigate complex challenges or catch up on prior-year reporting. He’s especially passionate about helping mission-driven entities that make a direct impact in their communities. Known for his calm and collaborative style, Ben makes it a priority to build relationships with clients and support new finance professionals as they grow into their roles.

Ben is active with the Friends of the Animal Shelter of Jackson County, where he previously served as Treasurer on the Board. Outside the office, Ben enjoys life in Southern Oregon with his wife, Christina, their daughters, Grace and Colette (Coco), and their two dogs, Larry and Lucy. You’ll often find them hiking, biking, or exploring the outdoors together.
