Bill Long

Chief Financial Officer

Bill Long is the Chief Financial Officer at Sorren, where he brings over two decades of financial leadership in high-growth, multi-location businesses. With a background rooted in the restaurant and hospitality industries, Bill offers a strategic and steady approach to financial management, guiding the firm through complex operational environments and long-term growth planning. Before joining Sorren, Bill served as President and CFO of Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, where he was affectionately known as “Dollar Bill.” There, he led the finance, accounting, technology, and procurement teams for one of the fastest-growing chef-driven breakfast concepts in the U.S. His prior experience includes senior leadership roles at publicly traded companies such as Noodles & Company and Bloomin’ Brands, where he managed corporate finance strategy, capital planning, and operational performance. Bill also served as Acting CFO of Outback Steakhouse in South Korea, giving him deep insight into international financial operations and cross-cultural leadership.

At Sorren, Bill partners closely with the executive team and board to shape financial strategy, improve operational performance, and support decision-making across the firm. He oversees all aspects of financial planning and analysis, capital structure, investor relations, M&A evaluation, and budgeting. Known for his composure in fast-paced environments, Bill brings clarity to complexity and excels at translating detailed financial data into clear, actionable insights. His ability to build high-performing teams and drive disciplined growth continues to make him a trusted advisor to both leadership and stakeholders.

In addition to his work at Sorren, he serves on the Board of Directors for GoTab, a restaurant commerce platform, and is actively involved in the nonprofit sector. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors for A Precious Child and has previously contributed to the Leadership Council for Cooking Matters Colorado, a campaign of Share Our Strength. In recognition of his leadership and impact, Bill was named to Restaurant Business Magazine’s “Power 20: Emerging Leaders” in 2020 and honored by the Denver Business Journal as a 40 Under 40 recipient in 2022.
