Brent has spent his career building trusted relationships across California’s Central Valley, known for his clarity, reliability, and client-first approach. Prior to joining Sorren, Brent owned and operated Taylor & Company for over 16 years, serving a broad range of clients with customized tax solutions and business advisory insight. He also served as Chief Financial Officer for The Well Community Church, where he helped lead long-term financial planning, stewardship initiatives, and operational growth during a period of organizational expansion. He previously served as Tax Director at Roeser Accountancy Corporation before Sorren’s formation. Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation for helping clients navigate transition points with clarity, whether launching a new business, managing growth, or preparing for succession. His work is grounded in both technical expertise and practical application. Clients appreciate Brent’s ability to break down complex tax considerations into actionable guidance that supports smart decision-making, minimizes risk, and creates long-term value.
