Casey Persing is a Partner at Sorren, based in Reno, Nevada, where he provides tax and consulting services for closely held businesses and their owners. With more than 40 years of experience, Casey works primarily with medical groups and construction companies, including multi-physician practices across a variety of specialties, general contractors, and specialty subcontractors. He typically serves businesses ranging from $5 million to $40 million in revenue and approaches his role as an extension of a client’s management team, helping owners and leadership solve problems and support the long-term success of their organizations.
Before joining Sorren, Casey served as Managing Partner at two accounting firms, including 12 years with Persing Professional Group. Throughout his career, he has focused on building trusted relationships that extend beyond traditional tax and accounting matters. Casey is often called upon when business owners or leadership teams face difficult decisions or disagreements, serving as a trusted resource who can help differing personalities find common ground and move forward. He brings that same collaborative approach to Sorren, drawing on decades of experience supporting clients through both financial and business challenges.
Originally from Lake Arrowhead, California, Casey has also spent many years serving his community through his church, including 15 years on the advisory team for a successful church plant. Outside of work, tennis is his favorite hobby, and he competes in USTA leagues. He also enjoys following tennis as well as University of Nevada and Gonzaga basketball.
