Cheryl Guiddy is the Chief Practice Officer at Sorren, Inc. and Chair of the Board at Sorren CPAs P.C. With over 30 years of experience in assurance and tax services, she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the firm’s service lines operate with both efficiency and excellence. Cheryl brings a deep understanding of business operations and the challenges individuals face, gained through decades of consulting across diverse industries, including nonprofit, construction, engineering, hospitality, and professional services. She has led hundreds of audits, reviews, and compilations for clients ranging from engineering firms and municipalities to pension plans and HUD projects. Beyond compliance, Cheryl is a trusted advisor in general business consulting. She guides clients through entity selection, tax planning, board governance, and the implementation of internal controls. Known for her ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights, she empowers clients to make confident, goal-oriented decisions. Appointed by the governor, Cheryl served on the Idaho State Board of Accountancy from 2011 to 2016, including a term as chair. She continues to give back through leadership roles in several community organizations.

Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Brian, their three children, and grandchild.
