Donald “Don” Miller is a Director at Sorren and a member of the firm’s Accounting and Auditing Practice. With more than 35 years of public accounting experience, he focuses primarily on quality management, technical engagement reviews, implementation of new accounting and auditing standards, and professional research. Don supports engagement teams across the firm by helping them interpret complex guidance, maintain consistency, and deliver work that meets Sorren’s high standards for quality and compliance.
Don’s client experience includes audit and accounting services for not-for-profit organizations, real estate companies, employee benefit plans, construction businesses, government contractors, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and other commercial organizations. His broad industry background gives him a practical understanding of the reporting and operational challenges faced by a wide range of clients. Known for his technical judgment and thoughtful approach, Don helps teams address difficult accounting matters while strengthening processes that support reliable financial reporting and effective risk management.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Don has contributed his financial and governance experience to several community organizations. He previously served in leadership roles with The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region and its supporting foundation, as well as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County.
