James DeFruscio is the Chief Technology Officer at Sorren, where he leads firmwide strategy for technology innovation, systems architecture, and digital operations. With more than two decades of experience, Jim brings a proven ability to align IT infrastructure with business goals, build high-performing teams, and drive enterprise-level transformations that enhance performance, streamline operations, and support scalable growth.
Throughout his career, Jim has held key technology leadership roles across industries, combining his technical expertise with a strategic mindset. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Spark Dental Management, where he led information technology, facilities, and surgery center operations. In this role, he oversaw the development and execution of enterprise IT strategy, directed multisite construction projects, and provided operational oversight for ambulatory surgery centers. Prior to that, Jim held several leadership positions at KEANE, including Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of IT. His background also includes software development and systems analysis roles at The Keane Organization and Boeing.
Across all of these roles, Jim has consistently been recognized for building strong cross-functional relationships, turning complex business challenges into actionable technology solutions, and integrating IT as a trusted partner within the organization.
