Jordan Empey is the Office Partner in Charge for Colorado at Sorren. He has been in public accounting since 2005 and became a partner in 2016. Jordan has been in a leadership role at SKR+CO for the past seven years, prior to its merger with Sorren. Jordan specializes in strategic tax planning for privately held companies, real estate developers, and high-net-worth families, offering guidance that integrates personal and business goals. Jordan’s clients include multifamily developers, commercial real estate investors, homebuilders, and private families with diverse interests, ranging from operating businesses to trusts and individual planning needs. He is known for building long-term relationships rooted in trust, collaboration, and a deep understanding of each client’s evolving financial picture.

Jordan was named a Rising Star by the Colorado Springs Business Journal in 2015. Jordan is a frequent speaker on tax topics and remains dedicated to mentoring the next generation of professionals. Jordan lives in Colorado and enjoys mountain biking, reading, skiing, hiking, and traveling with his family.
