Joe Fullerton is a Partner at Sorren, with over 16 years of experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to closely held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and private equity-backed companies. With a passion for elevated client service, he advises clients on complex issues involving mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, flow-through and tiered entity structures, and state and local tax strategy. Joe began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Charlotte, NC, where he focused on corporate and partnership taxation, including ASC740. He later spent time at CBIZ and SBF, gaining hands-on experience serving clients in industries including real estate, professional services, family office, and manufacturing and distribution. He is also a seasoned instructor, having led national-level tax technical and professional development courses.

Originally from Miami, Joe now lives in St. Petersburg with his wife and two children. Joe spends much of his free time outdoors and enjoys preparing meals from ingredients gathered from his fishing and hunting excursions, which he then uses to create his field-to-table dishes.
