Julie Smith-Moore is a Partner at Sorren, where she leads with a passion for streamlining accounting functions and building strong, lasting client relationships. With experience in both public accounting and private industry, Julie specializes in tax compliance, tax planning, and financial accounting services for closely held businesses and their owners. She also advises clients on multi-state tax matters and purchase accounting. Julie spent time at Grant Thornton, LLP, where she worked with large, publicly traded companies and collaborated with CFOs to modernize their internal tax departments through the use of software and technology innovation. Since joining SBF in 2016 and merging with Sorren, she has played a key role not only in client service but also in leading operations for the Tax and Advisory departments.

Julie and her husband live in Tampa, where they enjoy hanging out with their young children and exploring all that Tampa Bay has to offer. They dream of one day traveling the world together by sailboat.
