Kristi Davis

Kristi Davis is a Controller and Non-Profit & Government Regional Sector Leader in Sorren’s Client Advisory Services (CAS) practice, where she leads accounting operations and advisory services for nonprofit organizations, with a specialized focus on public charter schools. Based in Georgia, Kristi brings more than 20 years of experience leading accounting teams and managing full-cycle financial operations across a range of industries, including broker-dealers, manufacturing, e-commerce, and retail. She is known for her ability to build strong client relationships and deliver clear, reliable financial reporting that supports informed decision-making and long-term stability.

Over the past decade, Kristi has focused her work on nonprofit organizations, particularly Georgia public charter schools, where she has developed deep expertise in regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and audit readiness. She works closely with school leadership teams to streamline accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and implement systems that improve clarity and accountability. Kristi is especially valued for her thoughtful, hands-on approach, serving as a trusted partner who not only ensures compliance but also helps organizations plan for the future. Her leadership has driven meaningful results, including successfully guiding two schools through financial turnarounds, improving cash reserves from just days on hand to more than 125 days, and positioning them for long-term success.
