With more than 25 years of experience as a Managing Shareholder of legacy firm Hess & Rohmer, PC, Melody brings technical tax expertise combined with seasoned firm leadership. She serves clients in the real estate, oil and oilfield services, manufacturing, and agriculture industries. Melody is known for building long-term, trust-based relationships and serving as a valued advisor on business growth, estate planning, and complex tax. Her client work includes estate and succession planning strategies, including implementing gifting programs and trust structures designed to preserve assets and minimize estate tax exposure.
Throughout her career, Melody has led at both the client and firm level. As a Managing Shareholder, she was responsible for strategic vision and business development, client oversight and retention, firm operations and workflow management, financial management, compliance risk, and quality control, as well as staff leadership, including hiring, mentoring, and training. She also championed peer review and regulatory adherence, guiding the firm through change and growth.
A lifelong resident of Muenster, Texas, Melody values community, family, and service. She is a lifetime Girl Scout member and former Girl Scout leader. Melody enjoys running, traveling, baking with her grandchildren, and spending summer months with family at their lake home.
