Michael Germone is a Tax Director at Sorren. With more than 20 years of experience, Michael specializes in federal, state, and international tax compliance for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. He brings a deep understanding of complex tax environments, particularly for large multinational corporations and closely held businesses with multi-state filings. Michael works closely with clients to optimize their tax position through strategic planning, helping them grow, operate efficiently, and plan sustainably for the future. Michael began his career at Deloitte in San Francisco, where he spent nine years before becoming Director of U.S. Reporting and Compliance at Flextronics International in Denver. He later moved to Twin Falls to join Ataraxis Accounting, where he became a Director in 2018. Known for his analytical approach and commitment to solving complex problems, Michael helps clients navigate the constantly evolving tax landscape with clarity and confidence.

Originally from Sebastopol, California, Michael is a proud Bay Area sports fan and once had the chance to witness Barry Bonds break the single-season home run record in person. He enjoys traveling, golfing, reading sports biographies, and volunteering in his community. He and his wife have been married for over a decade and have three children together.
