Over the years, she’s worked with clients in all kinds of industries—manufacturing, distribution, telecommunications, employee benefit plans, nonprofits—but her true specialty is affordable housing.
In that space, Michele leads assurance engagements for more than 45 operating entities with funding from USDA Rural Development (RD), HUD, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs. She also oversees work for over 90 LIHTC investment funds managed by a national syndicator, keeping everything on track with the complex rules and reporting requirements that come with the territory.
As an assurance engagement partner, Michele leads more than 145 engagements each year, including affordable housing entities, real estate investment funds, employee benefit plans, and consolidated company financial statement engagements.
