Paul Charest is a Senior Manager at Sorren, where he specializes in international tax. With deep expertise across U.S. tax compliance, treaty interpretation, foreign entity reporting, and cross-border planning, Paul supports a wide range of individuals and businesses. His clients include U.S. individuals living abroad, foreign investors with U.S. source income, and multinational businesses navigating tax credit calculations and complex reporting requirements.

Paul is known for helping clients avoid or mitigate steep IRS penalties through proactive compliance, including successful Streamlined Filing Compliance Procedures. Many of his clients come to Sorren after receiving incomplete guidance from other firms, and Paul takes pride in resolving prior missteps and providing clear, confident direction for the future. He serves on the Board of the Police Athletic League of St. Petersburg and is a member of the board’s Finance Committee.
