Paula Tinch is a Partner with Healthworks Powered by Sorren and Sorren Inc., where she supports clients in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Sorren, Paula served as the Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Penn State Health until she retired in June 2025. She oversaw all financial operations, including reporting, revenue cycle operations, supply chain services, treasury and cash management, reimbursement, managed care contracting, budgeting, and business planning, as well as oversight of the senior financial leaders that supported the Penn State Health facilities and medical groups.
Earlier in her career, Paula held senior leadership roles at Rochester Regional Health and Excellus Health Plan, where she managed large-scale financial integrations, mergers, and process improvements supporting growth and operational excellence. She has also served in several leadership roles with the Rochester Chapter of HFMA, participated in the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania’s CFO and Managed Care Advisory Groups, and is an active member of Women United through the United Way. Paula has also been recognized by Becker’s Healthcare as one of its “CFOs to Know” for the past four years.
