Scott Farber is a Partner at Sorren, with over 30 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax, accounting, and consulting services. Known for his thoughtful approach and deep technical expertise, Scott works closely with privately held businesses, real estate developers, property managers, and investor groups, as well as clients in trusts and estates. Scott is a licensed CPA in the state of Illinois. Scott’s practice focuses on solving complex tax and accounting challenges, including Section 1031 exchanges, estate tax filings, and multi-entity accounting structures. His ability to create clear, tailored solutions, often through advanced spreadsheet modeling and tax strategy, makes him a trusted advisor for entrepreneurial businesses and high-value client groups.

Prior to joining Sorren, Scott co-founded the firm Jesser and Farber and spent several years as an auditor with a large regional firm. He brings a practical mindset and a client-first philosophy to every engagement, helping clients make informed decisions and achieve successful outcomes, even in situations that go beyond the day-to-day.
