Daniel Wardle is the Partner-in-Charge of Sorren’s Medford office, where he brings a practical mindset and people-first approach to every client relationship. He works primarily with general contractors, specialty trades, and real estate investors across Oregon, helping them navigate complex tax and accounting issues with clarity and confidence. Daniel specializes in the construction and real estate industries, offering guidance on job costing and WIP schedules, cost segregation, material participation strategies, and short-term rental deductions. His clients range from $1M to $100M in revenue, and he is known for developing hands-on strategies that strengthen financial performance and support long-term goals. The stories behind the numbers drive Daniel. He values learning what motivates each client and enjoys helping them deliver high-quality work that stands out in a competitive market. He worked full-time as an accountant and project manager at a construction firm while completing his studies, an experience that gave him operational insight he now uses to guide clients through key decisions. In one case, he helped restructure a business to fully leverage a cost segregation study, generating $400,000 in tax savings in the first year alone.
Before entering the accounting industry, Daniel spent several years working at a nonprofit orphanage in Mexico. That experience shaped his commitment to service and his appreciation for meaningful work. Today, he continues to support community-driven causes. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys woodworking and spending time with his wife and four children at their home in Southern Oregon. His favorite way to unwind? Let’s just say his legendary wrestling and dance moves are a hit at home, even if only with the kids.
