Don joined KDP in 2017 and worked with school districts, cities, counties, housing authorities, and community foundations, many with revenues exceeding $50 million. He brings a calm, methodical approach to each engagement, helping clients improve their close processes, prepare for audits, and implement new standards with confidence. He is particularly passionate about supporting organizations that drive positive impact and enjoys learning the stories behind each nonprofit’s mission. Earlier in his path, Don managed high-profile audits for municipalities, universities, and charitable foundations across the country. His career is defined by a commitment to public service and a clear, client-first mindset.
Outside of work, Don enjoys exploring Oregon’s natural beauty, catching up on literature, and supporting the arts. Originally from Texas, he brings a creative spirit to everything he does, fueled in part by his early background in the fine arts.
