Jeremy Nugent – Client Accounting Services Director
Jeremy Nugent is a Director in Sorren’s Client Accounting Services (CAS) department, based in Medford, Oregon, where he provides advisory-driven accounting and financial leadership for clients in the healthcare industry. With deep experience supporting physician-owned practices and multi-entity organizations, Jeremy works closely with orthopedic groups, surgeons, physical therapy and chiropractic practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and multi-specialty provider groups. He supports clients with revenue ranging from approximately $2 million to $70 million, helping them bring clarity to complex financial operations and make informed, strategic decisions.
Jeremy brings a unique blend of CAS expertise, executive-level leadership, and technical problem-solving to his work. Prior to joining Sorren, he served as CFO of a large, multi-entity healthcare practice with more than 40 providers, where he partnered with leadership on financial strategy, partner allocation and compensation models, buy-ins and buy-outs, and long-term growth planning. He has also led numerous technology and systems implementations, developed pro formas for new ventures, and advised on major construction and expansion projects, including the development of an ambulatory surgery center that reached profitability within 18 months. Through this experience, Jeremy is especially skilled at translating complex financial data into actionable insight that supports fair, sustainable, and performance-driven decision-making.
Originally from a small community east of Salem, Oregon, Jeremy values leadership, service, and lifelong learning. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, pickleball, travel, and following Oregon Ducks football. He is actively involved in mentoring and community organizations, including Seek First Sports and Edgewater Christian Fellowship, and is proud of raising, with his wife Stephanie, three children who are pursuing successful paths in business and accounting.
