Robert Hague is a Director at Sorren with more than 30 years of experience supporting closely held businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations. Known for his hands-on approach and calm leadership, Robert provides clients with accounting, payroll, tax planning, entity structuring, and advisory services tailored to their goals. He is especially skilled in helping small business owners navigate QuickBooks, choose the right business structure, and stay ahead of compliance requirements. Robert’s extensive experience spans estate, fiduciary, gift, business, and personal tax matters, and he is valued for his ability to explain complex financial topics in clear, approachable language. He plays a key role mentoring the tax team and reviewing high-level client deliverables to uphold the firm’s standards of excellence. Before launching his career in public accounting, Robert spent a decade working as a river guide across the U.S. He also worked winters at ski areas in New Hampshire and Oregon—an adventurous chapter that reflects the grounded, people-first perspective he brings to his work today.
Robert has served as Treasurer for Mt. Ashland and Help Now Advocacy Center. He continues to call Southern Oregon home, where he enjoys spending time with his wife, Ann, and their two daughters, Alexa and Milan. Outside of work, he’s an avid golfer, rafter, traveler, and lifelong fan of Oregon Ducks athletics.
